ABOUT THE PITCH DECK COMPETITION

Across India, millions of children are unable to play or participate in sports due to a range of barriers-lack of time, space, safety, motivation, or access to facilities.

The pitch deck competition invites school students to identify these barriers and design bold, creative, and actionable solutions. Whether it’s tech-driven, community-based, or infrastructure-focused, if it gets kids playing-it’s a winner.

THEMES OF THE PITCH DECK COMPETITION

Academic pressure & increased screen time hamper active participation in sports

Gender bias or social barriers associated with sports

Lack of safe
play spaces

Safety, injury & other parental concerns related to sports

Lack of community support to
pursue sports

Skill and fitness bias result in a lack of inclusive play

Sports for mental and
physical well being

FORMAT OF THE PITCH DECK COMPETITION

1. Each school will nominate 2 teams.

2. Each team will have minimum 2 and maximum 4 students,
with 1 mentor for each team.

3. Students’ eligibility: Grade 6 and above.

4. Mentors’ eligibility: P.E.Teacher/Sports Coach/Academic Teacher

1. Shortlisted students will form teams with their mentors to
compete in an Inter-school competition.

2. A problem statement will be given to each team to prepare a
solution-based pitch deck to be presented at the Cluster Levelfinals.

3. The presentations will be done in front of an audience
consisting of parents,
educators, P.E., and sports experts.

4. The top 2 teams from each cluster will qualify for the National Finals.

1. The top 2 teams from each cluster across India will compete against
each other at the National Level.

2. All teams will present a solution-based pitch deck for a different
and more difficult problem statement in this round.

3. The Top 3 teams with the best solutions to the respective problem
statements will emerge as
the Winners of Get Kids To
Play Summit.

Who can participate?

What must the teams prepare?

5-8 slides pitch deck (Google Slides/ MS PowerPoint/ PDF)

Live pitch presentation (5-7 minutes) during the Cluster/ National Finals

Pitch should clearly explain the problem, solution, feasibility and impact
