Who is an On-boarding specialist?
An onboarding specialist is someone who will contribute to the company’s growth and success by creating a welcoming and inclusive onboarding program. He/She will guide new hires through a seamless onboarding process, ensuring their successful integration into our organization.

What does On-boarding specialist do?
An onboarding specialist will collaborate closely with various departments to coordinate resources, and their joining to the region. He/She will ensure that all on-boarding formalities and documentation are completed by the candidate on time, and you will update the data to other departments so that essential work gets done. His/her exceptional communication skills will be vital in effectively communicating our company’s culture, policies, and procedures to recruits. Additionally, He/She will facilitate connections between new employees and their colleagues, promoting collaboration and a sense of belonging within our company.

Job Brief
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented onboarding specialist to join our team at Sportz Village. In this role, you will guide new hires through a seamless onboarding process, ensuring their successful integration into our organization.

A successful onboarding specialist has excellent people skills, is organized and meticulous, remains up to date with employment legislature, and keeps informed in company hiring and internship programs. He/She will also ensure that all data for Payroll, BGV, Insurance and other statutory compliance are up to date and shared with the respective teams on a regular basis.

Duties and responsibilities

On-boarding

  1. Providing necessary information and resources to facilitate a successful transition for new employees and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  2. Serving as a point of contact for new hires, addressing their questions and concerns and managing the onboarding process.
  3. Collaborating with the HR, the hiring managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  4. Facilitating the completion of new hire paperwork, including employment contracts, benefits enrolment, appointment letters, Statutory document, and other necessary documentation.
  5. Plan and coordinate the logistics of new employee onboarding, including scheduling and preparing materials.
  6. Ensuring completion of paperwork and following all legal and administrative compliance when onboarding candidates.
  7. Creating data for BGV, Payroll, Id card and Insurance.
  8. Generating employee HR id number
  9. Creating reports to validate work done in on-boarding.

 

Key requirements

  • Minimum – Masters’s degree in management with HR as the main subject
  • 4+ years of experience as on-boarding specialist, recruitment, HR
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance
  • Knowledge of the complete on-boarding and BGV process.
  • Knowledge about ATS, BGV process, HRIS
  • Experience in people management.
  • Experience in the onboarding process.
  • Knowledge of the Human Resources laws and regulations
  • Passion for sports, games, and activities
